Facebook URL Shortener
A little while ago I figured out that Facebook URLs can be shortened! My Business Facebook page has a long title so it’s quite difficult to fit “facebook.com/NicholasBurgeWebDesign” on a business card or other marketing material (for print marketing, there is no need to put “http://” or “www” in front of the url).
Of course there are third party services like bit.ly or goo.gl, but Facebook has a couple smaller domains that automatically redirect for you. These domains include FB.COM and FB.ME so for example, the following URLs redirect to my page:
